Role Overview
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering holistic care to patients undergoing haemodialysis treatment. Your responsibilities will include providing safe treatment according to prescribed protocols and fostering a patient-centered environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care to patients, prioritising their individual needs.
- Mentor and support fellow team members.
- Administer safe haemodialysis treatment in accordance with prescribed regimens.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and stakeholders.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while actively contributing to their improvement.
- Pursue continuous professional development to enhance patient care standards.
- Champion evidence-based practice and contribute to its evaluation and implementation.
Person Specification
- Full NMC registration.
- Nursing degree qualification.
- Previous experience in renal nursing is advantageous (training will be provided).
- Strong communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of professional nursing standards.
- Adaptability to changing work environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and flexible demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
