Role Overview:

As a Staff Nurse, you will be integral to delivering high standards of holistic care using the nursing model implemented within our units. Your primary responsibility will be providing safe haemodialysis treatment in accordance with patient prescriptions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised, patient-focused care of the highest standard.
  • Mentor and support team members.
  • Deliver safe haemodialysis treatment as prescribed.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and with external organisations and hospital trusts.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, users, and service providers.
  • Adhere to company procedures, guidelines, and policies while contributing to their review and implementation.
  • Continuously develop relevant knowledge and skills to enhance patient care.
  • Commit to evidence-based practice and contribute to the evaluation of evidence for patient care improvement.

Person Specification:

  • Full NMC registration.
  • Nursing degree.
  • Experience in renal nursing is advantageous (comprehensive training provided).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of current professional nursing issues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a friendly and flexible approach.
  • Effective team player.
