Sanctuary Personnel is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our client's close-knit and friendly team on a full-time basis, covering day and night shifts from Monday - Sunday.

This exceptional role is ideal for an experienced "all-rounder" who enjoys caring for general surgery patients, including those undergoing Orthopaedic, Urology, Bariatric surgery, Plastic surgery, ENT, and Ophthalmology procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a staff nurse on the surgical ward, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting patients recovering from a variety of surgeries and providing high-quality care.
  • Joining a high-performing team of experienced nurses who consistently receive excellent patient satisfaction feedback.
  • Actively promoting best practices and contributing to quality improvements.
  • Making safe discharge decisions in collaboration with our consultant team.
  • Liaising and networking with other departments across the hospital.
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes in patients' health and well-being.
  • Developing your own knowledge and skills, as well as those of your colleagues.
  • Promoting best practices in health, safety, and security.

Who They Are Looking For:

  • NMC registered with a valid PIN, free of restrictions or conditions.
  • Experienced in working within teams with minimal supervision.
  • Possess at least one year of surgical or A&E experience in a hospital setting.
  • A Registered Nurse with competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration and additional training.
