Shifts: 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Sunday, 07:30 am – 20:00 pm or 19:30 pm – 08:15 am on a rota basis
Salary: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our multi-disciplinary Inpatient Wards team consists of Sisters, Nurses, Care Support Workers, Physiotherapists, and Ward Clerks who provide care to patients undergoing elective surgical procedures in a wide variety of specialties, including orthopaedics, dermatology, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology.

As a Staff Nurse on our wards, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to care for patients, monitoring their conditions pre and post-surgery.

You will be a strong and empathetic Staff Nurse with a current NMC registration, who is absolutely patient-focused, with a desire and proven ability to deliver healthcare at its best.

This role is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Day, night, and weekend working are required.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating outstanding clinical practice at all times
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team led by a supportive senior nursing team
  • Planning, implementing, and delivering holistic patient-centered care to a group of patients
  • Maintaining accurate patient records utilising the most up-to-date evidence-based care and guidelines
  • Working to develop a strong, effective team by developing the vision and strategy of “healthcare at its best”

Person Specification:

  • Be a strong and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN RGN).
  • To be patient-focused, with a desire and proven ability to deliver healthcare at its best.
  • Have knowledge of clinical governance and its application along with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • To be confident in building relationships with the ability to easily engage with others including consultants, colleagues, and patients.
