Due to expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Inpatients team as a Staff Nurse. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, planning, and delivering patient-centered care. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to advance their career in a clinical setting that prioritises staff development. While experience in surgical nursing is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

This role entails a 37.5 hour weekly commitment, with shifts scheduled between Monday and Sunday, operating on a rotational basis from 07:30 am - 20:00 pm or 19:30 pm - 08:15 am.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exemplary clinical practice and adhere to the NMC code of conduct.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records.
  • Spearhead innovation in care delivery and resource utilisation.

Person Specification:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN.
  • Demonstrated post-registration clinical experience.
  • Proficient in building rapport and communication with colleagues, consultants, and patients.
  • Knowledgeable in clinical governance principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
