Sanctuary Health is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to work in Wishaw, Scotland. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of general nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The salary for this Senior Staff Nurse role is £31,141 to £34,378 per annum.
Duties:
- To work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients.
- To provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality.
- To act as an advocate to the child or adult ensuring the provision of appropriate information and support services.
- To regularly review risk factors and work in conjunction with the MDT to modify care plans as appropriate.
- Ensure all clinical documentation is of a high standard and patient notes are maintained and filed in the appropriate way.
- Participating in clinical audit, clinical risk and quality issues, including the management and reporting of incidents
- Participates in discussions and debates and staff meetings offering views, ideas and opinions.
- Participate in the process of positively supporting and inspiring colleagues within the service to improve standards and quality and to develop professional practice.
Requirements of the Senior Staff Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration
- A degree or equivalent within general nursing
- Experience within a similar job
