Job Overview:

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our client's multidisciplinary team. This 28-bed acute medical unit focuses on providing high-quality care to patients with complex medical and social needs, with a particular emphasis on stroke care. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective patient care in collaboration with colleagues across various departments.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Healthcare Assistants.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory responsibilities and professional standards.
  • Continuously update clinical knowledge and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Coordinate care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Actively participate in clinical audits and infection control measures.
  • Provide leadership and support to junior staff members.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute constructively to performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC Registration.
  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualifying experience in acute medicine.
  • Familiarity with the NMC Code (2015).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in basic keyboard skills.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Desirable:

  • Vocational award in health and social care.
  • Teaching and mentorship qualification.
  • Ability to manage risks and complaints.
