A prestigious healthcare provider in Worcester is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Sister to join their team permanently, with full-time hours available. We are seeking an experienced Ward Sister/Charge Nurse keen on advancing their career and becoming part of our skilled and welcoming team. We collaborate with some of the region's most seasoned Consultant Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and Physicians to provide tailored, individualised care. Known for our positive patient feedback, we're currently undergoing refurbishments in our in-patient bedrooms following recent significant investments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily operations.
- Identify and escalate concerns to the Ward Sister or Matron.
- Provide support to the nursing team, HCAs, and Ward Sister.
- Delegate tasks effectively.
- Make informed discharge decisions in collaboration with our consultant team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse with an active NMC registration, free of restrictions or conditions.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience at the Sister/Charge Nurse level within a Surgical unit.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example.
- Capable of making autonomous decisions.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
