Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a hospital for Women & Children, located in Westminster, London. The hospital is currently rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The PICU at the hospital has been operational since November 2011 and boasts a modern, spacious 14-bed unit equipped with the latest technology to provide advanced respiratory and organ support. Our team of Consultant Paediatric Intensivists provides round-the-clock medical support.

Duties:
As a Sister/Charge Nurse in our PICU, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' needs, developing holistic care plans, and delivering exceptional critical care nursing. Additionally, you will supervise and direct junior staff, as well as deputise for Senior Sisters when necessary.
Requirements:
Essential qualifications and experience for this role include being a registered nurse with the NMC (Child), extensive nursing experience in a PICU setting, completion of a PICU Course equivalent to 60 credits, experience in shift leadership within a Cardiac PICU, and a teaching and mentorship qualification. Possession of PILS/EPLS certification is also required.
