Salary: £62,041.73 - £74,374.40 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute physicians’ requisitions, generate and assess images for diagnostic accuracy and potential pathology. Report any deviations from quality control standards to the Imaging Resource Technologist, Senior Imaging Technologist, or Radiologist/Cardiologist as needed.
- Operate and maintain Imaging and Imaging support equipment (e.g., laser printer, PACS) safely and efficiently.
- Transport and utilise portable equipment in designated hospital areas for imaging procedures, adhering to all Critical Care area policies, sterile techniques, and anesthesia safety measures.
- Take ownership of continuous professional development, including participation in educational programs, to maintain competency.
- Practice Radiation Safety and Infection Control protocols consistently.
- May be required to rotate through various imaging modalities (e.g., Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI) to gain experience and/or credentials for specialised areas based on certifications.
Qualifications & Registration Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
- Registration/certification from an accredited program in one or more of the following modalities: Radiology, CAT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Density. Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council is mandatory.
Level 1 Imaging Technologist:
- Preferred minimum 0 – 2 years of post-graduate experience for newly qualified Bermudians with relevant certification from an accredited institution.
- Specialisation in a single modality within Radiography/Nuclear Medicine/MRI.
Level 2 Imaging Technologist:
- Preferred minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience.
- In addition to Level 1 certification, must hold one or more certifications in applicable Primary and/or Post Primary Pathways such as Mammography/Cat Scan/Bone Densitometry.
