Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join a renowned research institute in Westminster, recognised as “Good” by the CQC.

The institute is a global leader in conducting clinical trials, specialising in the advancement of novel therapies, particularly targeted and precision medications for patients with cancer.

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating expert research care, particularly in the realm of phase one drug development and initial human clinical trials.

Your role will extend to providing essential support to patients participating in the clinical trial program, ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice standards. Networking with consultants and referrals will be crucial to identifying potential trial candidates, and you will play a pivotal role in meeting recruitment targets.

Collaborating across various teams within the institute, you will contribute to the seamless functioning of the clinical research facility. This involves executing nurse screening procedures, scheduling appointments, and completing relevant assessments.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • Current NMC registration (if a registered nurse)
  • Essential experience in Oncology Trials
  • Desirable: Chemotherapy Competent (SACT Passport) for Registered Nurses
  • Proficient in patient assessment and phlebotomy
  • Registered Nurse with experience in research coordination, specifically in early phase trials.
