Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a renowned healthcare facility situated in London. The hospital is distinguished as the sole independent hospital in the UK exclusively dedicated to women and children, currently rated as “Good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Duties:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, you will utilise your expertise to deliver comprehensive and evidence-based care across the Orthopaedic pathway. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will also exercise autonomy in overseeing the patient journey. Acting as a patient advocate, you will provide specialised nursing guidance and emotional support throughout their treatment journey, while actively contributing to service enhancement and staff education initiatives. Key Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification in Child Nursing (RN Child) or Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) with valid NMC registration
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in Children’s nursing
  • First-degree qualification in nursing or a related healthcare field
  • Relevant qualification in the specialist area with a minimum of 12 months of experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification
  • Experience in conducting audits and research pertinent to the specialism
  • Proficiency in safeguarding processes, with an up-to-date Level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Familiarity with clinical governance and risk management practices
