Main Duties:
- Work as part of the project group to ensure targets and timelines are met
- Promote the project within Reading Borough Council Adult Social Care teams
- Line manage, guide and motivate a small team of practitioners such as an OT and Social Care Co-ordinator to achieve the project aims
- Support the team of practitioners to engage with users, review, assess and report on the impact of the TEC on individuals, their circle of support and Reading Adult Social Care
- Engage with services users, adult social care teams and install the available Technology Enabled Care (TEC) systems (all training will be given)
- Feed into the project evaluation
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
