Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a proficient Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants in an esteemed medical and healthcare setting in Dublin, Ireland.

This permanent/part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with extensive experience in mental health nursing to become an integral part of a committed Multidisciplinary Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing significantly to psychiatric nurse management within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop, coordinate, and manage operations in alignment with national and regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Oversee nursing service provision to maintain the highest standards of treatment, care, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory programs, including Health & Safety and Risk Management standards.
  • Drive operational change programs within the nursing service as an active leader.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, nursing staff, carers, and other team members in goal setting and care planning.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary/healthcare teams, fostering cooperation and collaboration.
  • Ensure alignment of all practices, procedures, and policies with organisational service and strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse (with An Bord Altranais/NMBI or eligibility to register).
  • Minimum five years post-qualification experience, with at least two years in mental health.
  • Proficiency in clinical, managerial, leadership, and administrative competencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mental Health Commission requirements.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and statutory regulations affecting healthcare organisations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Excellent people management experience and skills.
  • Ability to respond to and manage medical and psychiatric emergencies effectively.
