Salary: £37,500 - £45,000 (depending upon experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Patterns:
This is a Monday - Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:
- Monday - Sunday Long Days– 07:30 am – 20:00 pm
- Monday - Sunday Nights – 19:30 pm – 08:00 am
- Bank Holidays – 07:30 am – 20:00 pm & 19:30 pm – 08:00 am

Key Responsibilities:
As a Staff Nurse within our team, you will be an integral part of a specialist group dedicated to providing safe, effective, and efficient care for patients following complex spinal surgery. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Prioritising nursing care, recognizing changes in patient condition, and escalating concerns to the senior nursing team/clinicians promptly.
- Evaluating, updating, and revising plans of care to facilitate achievement of expected outcomes.
- Creating a culture of shared accountability and ensuring a safe environment for patients, caregivers, and visitors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Nursing Bachelor’s Degree.
- Completion of ILS provider course and qualification within 3 months of hire.
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) with no restrictions.
- Demonstrable broad clinical experience within areas such as cervical discectomies, lumbar fusions, thoracic laminectomies, and/or decompressions.
- Evidence of continuing professional development within surgical nursing, ideally spinal.
