Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Saturday, covering early and late shifts
Salary: £42,500 - £51,059 per annum, plus shift allowance

We are seeking a Senior Operating Department Practitioner to join our esteemed Theatre team in London, renowned for its "Outstanding" rating by the CQC. Our theatres provide a dynamic and professional environment equipped with cutting-edge technology and facilities.

The hospital boasts 10 state-of-the-art Operating Theatres catering to a diverse range of surgical specialties including Cardiac, Orthopaedic, Liver, Neurological, Urological, Spinal, and General surgeries. Successful candidates will become integral members of a large and experienced theatre team, benefitting from ample opportunities for career progression and professional development.

With 160 beds, including 28 ICU beds, and 10 operating theatres, we offer exceptional treatment across various acute and complex care scenarios, utilising the latest healthcare innovations and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualification
  • Postgraduate experience in UK Theatres
  • Anaesthetics experience
  • Completion of Anaesthetics course
  • Ensuring safety for patients and colleagues
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with Consultants and other health professionals
  • Participating fully as a team member, working across all areas of the theatre suite to promote teamwork and achieve objectives
