Job Title: Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse
Location: Cambridge
Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 22.5 or above – 08:00 am - 18:00 pm. Some late evenings, and occasional Saturdays.
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for a Pre Assessment Nurse for a renowned healthcare facility in Cambridge. This permanent position offers either part-time or full-time hours within the Pre Assessment Unit.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and supportive team, contributing to the assessment of patient health and well-being across a diverse caseload.
Duties:
- You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
- Undertake electronic pre-operative assessment of patients
- Identify and escalate patients of concern against the hospital's admission criteria to senior nursing staff
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals’ health and well being needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security
Requirements:
- You will be a registered nurse with valid NMC with no restrictions on practice
- You will have excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care
- You must have Surgical experience in a hospital environment
- Excellent team working skills
