Description:

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Lead Endoscopy Nurse to join a dynamic team at a prestigious hospital. The successful candidate will take on the responsibility and accountability for delivering top-tier Endoscopy care, alongside leading the team as appropriate. Care will be tailored to meet individual patient needs and Consultant requirements, ensuring excellence in service delivery.

Located in St John’s Wood, our independent private Hospital is conveniently situated near Central London. Recently ranked as the top facility for care in the country according to the latest Bupa survey, our hospital's profits support our onsite Hospice. 

Key Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Endoscopy Nurse
  • Competence in a range of Endoscopy procedures
  • Ability to deliver high-quality Endoscopy care
  • Proficiency in computer and numeracy skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to departmental needs
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-level Endoscopy patient care
  • Leadership to ensure adherence to procedural safety standards and efficient list management
  • Collaboration within the wider hospital environment
  • Participation in team activities to promote cohesion and achieve objectives
  • Effective resource management within the department
  • Contribution to education, training, and development of staff
  • Equipment maintenance and adherence to infection control protocols
  • Patient preparation for invasive procedures and provision of urgent or emergency care as needed
  • Compliance with supply procedures and departmental directives
