We have an exciting locum opportunity for a Band 7 Special School & Complex Nursing Team Lead (Nurse) with UK experience to join our team. Duties will include: managing the special school and complex nursing team and services, provide clinical advice and support to children with complex needs and disabilities, manage own caseload of children within a special school, provide training to school staff, carry out staff supervisions and appraisals, undertake risk assessments and audits, manage budget of service, work with partners across health and education.

Location: North East London

Banding/Grade: Band 7

Pay rate (Assignment rate): £31 per hour

Contract Length: 3-Months

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00 am - 17:00 pm

Requirements for the Special School & Complex Nursing Team Lead role:

  • Qualified childrens nurse RSCN or RNC, post qualification experience
  • Experience with managing a team and managing services
  • Experience caring for children with complex needs
  • Experience training people
  • Experience with care planning, ideally previous experience working in a special school
  • Must be able to drive and have access to a car
