Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday.

In the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, you'll utilise your expertise to deliver comprehensive and evidence-based care along the Orthopaedic pathway. Working closely with a diverse team, you'll oversee patient care autonomously while advocating for their needs and providing specialist nursing advice and support. Your role will extend to driving service enhancements and facilitating staff education initiatives. Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Children’s Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in Children’s nursing
  • First degree in nursing or a health-related subject
  • Relevant qualification in the specialist area with at least 12 months experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
  • Experience in audit and research relevant to the specialism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with an up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Understanding of clinical governance and risk management
