Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday. 
Salary: £60,000 per annum

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, your role will involve delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care throughout the Orthopaedic pathway. Working within a multidisciplinary framework, you'll also exercise autonomy in guiding patients through their treatment journey. Advocating for patients, offering specialised nursing guidance, and providing emotional support will be central to your responsibilities, alongside contributing to service enhancement and staff training initiatives. Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Children’s Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • Five years of post-registration experience in Children’s nursing
  • First degree in nursing or a health-related subject
  • Relevant qualification in a specialist area with a minimum of 12 months' experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification
  • Experience in audit and research relevant to your specialism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with an up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Understanding of clinical governance and risk management
