Role Purpose:

The Senior Staff Nurse will serve as a practitioner with professional accountability, effectively planning, delivering, and evaluating care for a group of patients with diverse conditions within a recognised clinical setting.

Role Context:

Operating across various clinical areas within acute and community services, individuals in this role will skillfully manage care for complex or high-risk patients within their caseload. They will provide guidance and support to less experienced staff and may assume leadership responsibilities for the ward or team as needed.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Education:

  • First Level Registered Nurse (Diploma/First Degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
