Job Title: Clinical Specialist Mammographer
Location: Marylebone
Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. The service is open between the hours of 08:00 am and 20:00 pm. 
Salary: Up to £54,500 per annum (dependent on experience) + for a limited time, we are also offering a 10% welcome bonus for applicants not already known to the business. 

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Clinical Specialist Mammographer to join our client's team in the Breast Institute, situated in London.

The Breast Institute takes pride in delivering a robust service to both screening and symptomatic clinic patients. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology from Hologic, they maintain a high standard of care under the guidance of leading consultant breast radiologists.

As a Specialist Mammographer at the Breast Institute, your responsibilities will include performing mammography procedures, assisting with biopsies, participating in screening and symptomatic breast clinics, conducting bone density scans, and undertaking administrative duties associated with the Mammography service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control functions for mammography and bone density scans.
  • Participate in screening and symptomatic breast clinics.
  • Assist with vacuum-assisted biopsies where necessary.
  • Conduct bone density scans.
  • Undertake administrative tasks under the guidance of the Mammographer Superintendent.
  • Utilise and understand the PACS Meditech Information Systems.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive post-graduate experience with a post DCR in mammography
  • Familiarity with mammography processes and procedures
  • Previous experience with Hologic equipment
