Position Available: Clinical Specialist Radiographer - Cath Labs

Shift Pattern: Full time. 37.5 hours per week, with shift times between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm. On-call requirement of 1 in 3/4 weeks, including weekends.
Salary: £49,000 - £54,500 per annum, dependent upon experience
Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our client's Cardiac team at a prestigious medical facility in London. Renowned for its excellence in cardiac care, this facility boasts a reputation for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
As part of our client's dedicated team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality diagnostic radiography services within our Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of outstanding care to our patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in a wide range of cardiology, radiology, and interventional vascular investigations.
- Uphold strict adherence to Radiation Protection regulations and safety protocols for staff and patients.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource within the Cardiac Radiography service, offering expertise within the Catheter Lab Department.
- Conduct a diverse array of standard and complex procedures on adult patients, collaborating closely with clinicians to support clinical decision-making.
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.
- Participate in the department's on-call rota to provide seamless care beyond regular hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- Extensive experience in Cath Lab procedures post-qualification.
- Proficiency in clinical governance and Cath Lab protocols.
- Previous exposure to Interventional Radiology suite operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Phillips and/or Siemens systems is desirable.
