The salary for this permanent Lead Occupational Therapist job is £43,742 - £50,952 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Conducting clinical specialist assessments for the patient group
  • Reporting on the service's effectiveness in clinical governance and other performance-related meetings
  • Advocating for and promoting the occupational therapy (OT) role within the acute/PICU setting
  • Cultivating positive working relationships with the wider Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)
  • Facilitating the upskilling and development of the OT workforce
  • Integrating current practices and evidence-based research into the service from an OT perspective

Requirements of the Lead Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
