Shift Pattern: Full time. 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: £60,000 - £63,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Care to join our esteemed Breast Care team. The hospital holds a distinguished reputation as the largest private hospital in the UK and our Breast Unit has garnered recognition for its excellence in private breast screening and diagnostic treatments. Since its establishment in 2011, our unit has remained committed to delivering unparalleled quality, expertise, and patient support throughout their journey.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Care, you will utilise your advanced skills to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care across the breast cancer pathway. Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, you will also function autonomously, overseeing the patient journey with diligence and compassion. Your role will involve advocating for patients, offering specialised nursing advice, emotional support, and driving service enhancements and staff education initiatives. Your Profile:

  • NMC registered Nurse

  • Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care, breast cancer or relevant subject (ENB 998, 237, diploma breast care nursing)

  • Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Care

  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development

  • Level 2 psychological skills training or equivalent

  • Extensive post-registration experience in cancer, breast care, or palliative care

  • Experience in teaching
