The salary for this permanent Clinical Nurse Manager job is £60,792 per annum.

Duties:

  • Develop their professional standards whilst operating within roles and responsibilities aligned to their Contract of Employment, Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Nursing Practice
  • Ensure that the specialised skills and knowledge in Cardiac Nursing are utilised to facilitate the provision of a quality patient focused service for all patients
  • Lead by example as an expert practitioner providing quality patient care and leadership in the management of the Urgent Cardiac Care Unit
  • As a role model promote best practice in the delivery of nursing care and provide clinical expertise and support within the Inter Disciplinary Team
  • Support, assist and facilitate colleagues in achieving specific Critical Success Factors as developed for the Ward/Unit/Department
  • Encourage a culture of openness and participation through effective communication
  • Be responsible for his/her own professional development

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse Manager:

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Be on the live register with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
  • Post-registration experience of which must be in critical care nursing
  • Up to date knowledge in clinical practice and management of day case patients
  • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills
  • Have undertaken formal recognised post registration education relevant to his/her specialist practice at higher diploma level or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development to degree level or willing to undertake same
  • Have a recognised Knowledge of issues relating to nurse education and development
  • Ability to develop policies and protocols in conjunction with other members of the team
  • Children First Certificate
  • GDPR Certificate
