Job Title: Senior Staff Nurse – ITU

Salary: £42,500 - £51,059 per annum + shift enhancement

The ITU team, overseen by two experienced consultants and supported by a resident doctor on-site 24/7, ensures a high level of expertise and assistance for delivering exceptional care.
As a Senior Staff Nurse in the ITU unit, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the department's smooth operation. Utilising your extensive clinical knowledge, you will mentor junior nurses, providing guidance and support. The role includes stepping up to lead the unit in the absence of the ITU Sister/Charge Nurse. Your responsibilities will vary, from delivering personalised patient care to participating in audits and quality improvement projects. What you’ll bring:
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
- Neuro, Cardiac, or General ITU-specific skills and experience.
- Extensive experience working within Critical Care.
- Critical Care Course (60 Credits).
