Sanctuary Personnel is an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency within the Health and Social Care Sector. We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Home/Register Manager that is also a qualified Nurse to work in East Grinstead. The salary for this permanent role is £40,000 per annum and will be contracted to 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- To take overall responsibility for the successful running of the service, in line with the requirements of our regulatory bodies and company policies and procedures.
- Working in partnership with colleagues and senior management you will promote and ensure high standards of care and support for people who use our services. Managing the service as a financially profitable and viable business that has a future for the people who use our services
Compliance - To maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with colleagues to manage services.
- To ensure the service meets, and indeed exceeds, the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission guidance 'Essential Standards of Quality & Safety
- To ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person-centered planning, and regular outcome focussed review s of services.
- To ensure compliance with SHC's Development & Training and Supervision Policies.
Service Delivery
- To ensure the delivery of person centered care/support services that promote independence, choice and dignity to empower people to live as independently as possible.
- To ensure care/support services are structured in a way that provides flexibility, reliability, and continuity.
- To ensure services are accessible.
- To ensure the development of robust systems and procedures.
Service Development
- To ensure that there is a coordinated and consistent approach to service a provision that is cost-effective and efficient making the best use of allocated resources.
- To identify recruitment needs and develop plans to ensure the service is appropriately resourced with capacity for growth.
- To be routinely involved in a range of human resources/staff management duties including Workforce Planning to agreed KPIs Recruitment and selection; Training Supervision, Appraisal Disciplinary/Capability procedures; Absence Management.
Quality Assurance
- To implement and maintain an effective quality assurance program to promote high quality, best practice, and continuous improvement of services in line with SHC's Quality Assurance Policies.
- To resolve all complaints in accordance with SHC's Complaints Policy.
- To evaluate services through regular review, annual service user questionnaires, analysis of complaints & compliments etc.
- To implement SHC's Care Governance Framework to continuously improve services, care, and support.
Resource Management
- To proactively manage delegated budgets ensuring efficient use of resources.
- To develop operational controls in partnership with the senior management team to ensure a commitment to cost-effectiveness and value for money
Requirements of the Clinical Home/Register Manager:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in health and social care setting
- Must be a qualified nurse (RGN/RMN/RNNLD)
- At least 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health and social care setting
- Experience of managing an effective team
- A knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centered services
