Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Stowmarket.
Location: Stowmarket
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract
Pay Rate: £20.00 - £21.06 per hour (assignment rate)
Shift Pattern: Full time. Day shifts.
Duties:
- Supporting service users with mental health issues, challenging behaviours and offending behaviour
- Providing nursing care, coordinating shift, administer medication, writing progress report on daily bases, completing and attending Clinical reviews, CPA and MHRT meetings
- Facilitated 1:1 sessions, escort on s17 leave

Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Nursing Degree or equivalent RN(MH)
- Valid NMC Registration
- Previous experience of working with people with mental health needs
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to think on their feet
- Ability to work under pressure
- Generally interested and motivated to work in a care environment
- Fitness to undergo PMA training and perform full duties of post
- Ability to travel independently
- Understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality
- Ability to travel independently
- Working knowledge /application of the Mental Health Act 1983
