Sanctuary Personnel are recruiting for candidates to embark on an exciting career journey with opportunities for growth and development. We are currently seeking experienced Senior Registered Nurses to join our client's Neurological Care Centre located in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Their Neurological Care Centre is dedicated to providing specialist care for individuals aged 18 and above with various neurological conditions. Situated in the serene surroundings of Ipswich, Suffolk, they are committed to offering tailored care to enhance the health and wellbeing of their residents, promote independence, and cater to their emotional and social needs. Through expert neurorehabilitation, their assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals strive to improve the lives of those affected by neurological conditions or brain injuries.

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide support, leadership, and supervision to team members, while also facilitating learning and development opportunities for service users, carers, families, and colleagues. Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with legal policies, and promoting a safe working environment are integral aspects of the position. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of nursing practice and uphold values and policies.

Enhancements:

They offer enhancements for night shifts, weekends, and public holidays to recognise your commitment and dedication.

  • 20:00 pm - 06:00 am (nights) 30%
  • Friday midnight to Sunday midnight (weekends) 30% 
  • Public Holidays 24 hours midnight to midnight 60%

About You:

  • Proven ability to build, lead and influence an effective team in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of current legislation within the independent care sector
  • Knowledge of best clinical practice for client group
  • Demonstrable experience of practising in a self-directed and highly motivated way
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate difficult messages to service users and their families
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Able to effectively manage change
  • An ability to provide teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting
  • NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in the clinical field
  • Completion of NMC recognised accredited mentor training or willing to undertake
  • Evidence of continued professional development
