Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Robotics Surgery Surgical Care Practitioner to join a prestigious Surgical Institute located in London. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £60,000 p/a.

What are we looking for?

We are recruiting a skilled Robotics Surgery Surgical Care Practitioner to contribute to the dynamic environment of our client, a leading healthcare institution. The role involves working full-time with shift patterns from 07:30 am - 20:30 pm, three long working days per week (Monday - Friday), and on-call duties covering 1 in 8 weekend services.

What will your duties include?

  • Execute specialized skills related to Robotic surgery, including prepping and draping, port incision, robot setup, instrumentation knowledge, bleeding management, specimen management, and drain insertion.
  • Actively participate in surgical procedures under the direction of the Consultant surgeon.
  • Contribute to research-based practice, quality assurance, clinical audit, and facilitate team members' professional development.
  • Collaborate with the Lead SCP and consultants in Robotics projects, acting as a point of contact for Robotic surgery and services.

What we need from you?

  • Significant experience as a Surgical Care Practitioner, assisting in robotic surgeries, with a preference for experience in abdominal and pelvic surgery.
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical decision-making, surgical skills, teaching, critical thinking, coaching, counselling, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Proactive identification of opportunities for team and individual improvement, skills development, and knowledge enhancement.
  • Eagerness to take autonomy in Robotics projects while collaborating with the Lead SCP and various consultants.
  • Act as a point of contact for Robotic surgery and services to optimize patient care.
