Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our client's reputable private hospital's busy and well-established theatre department in Norwich. This position offers a competitive salary equivalent to Band 5/Mid 6 and a generous £3,000 joining bonus.

Job Description

As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will support a wide variety of surgical procedures, assess patients’ health and well-being across a dynamic caseload, and assist in delivering personalised care. You will play a crucial role in promoting best practices and contributing to quality improvements. This role involves working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and requires flexibility to work on rotation in different specialities, offering variety for the successful applicant.

Shift Pattern:

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Shifts are: 07:30 am - 18:00 pm/12:30 pm - 21:00 pm/department open: 07:30 am - 21:00 pm (or anything between the department open hours Monday – Friday) and alternative Saturdays 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage.
  • Assist in managing and organising care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department.
  • Act as either Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities.
  • Assess patient needs, implement and evaluate their care.
  • Promote best practices and contribute towards quality improvements.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse with no restrictions.
  • At least 2 years of Orthopaedics scrubbing experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work on rotation in different specialities.
