Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Practitioner to join our client's high-performing Theatre Team. This role focuses on Scrub, offering an excellent opportunity to advance your career within one of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers.
Their Theatre staff and ODPs are expected to be experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or willing to learn new techniques under expert supervision. They prioritise internal promotions, offering long-term career advancement opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a perioperative practitioner in a supportive environment, you will provide excellent patient care across a range of surgical specialties, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Plastics, ENT, Breast, and Ophthalmic surgeries.
Shift Patterns:
- 07:30 am - 18:00 pm
- 12:30 pm - 21:00 pm
- Department open hours: 07:30 am - 21:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
- Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
Who They're Looking For:
- HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered
- Enthusiastic, dedicated team player capable of working with minimal supervision
- Skilled in providing exemplary planned care during the perioperative stage and assisting in the management and organisation of operating theatre care
- Experience in various surgical procedures, including General Surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastics, and Ophthalmic
- While ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications are desirable, they are not essential. We provide training opportunities for those willing to learn and succeed. You will have the chance to train in specialist areas such as orthopaedics and pursue career development courses, all fully funded.
