Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Preston
Salary: £27,805 - £31,501 per annum + 30% enhancements on weekends
Hours: 7.15am - 8.15pm, 3 shifts per week

About Our Clients Care Centre:

Our client has a purpose built state of the art Neurological Care Centre. The centre is based at the heart of a community and includes 40 fully accessible en-suite rooms, over three floors. Your role will work collaboratively with the nursing team and the wider multi-disciplinary team in order to provide an integrated, proactive and high quality service.

The client provides the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independence and support their emotional and social needs.

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care using evidence based guidelines
  • To work collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver high quality care
  • Maintain all records in line with corporate policies and procedures and NMC guidelines
  • Carry out all clinical care in line with the clients policies and procedures
  • Ensure the care team provide all care in line with the inter-professional evidence based care plan
  • Where appropriate be responsible for the management of patient care during the shift.

About You

  • A Registered Nurse, preferably with experience in neurological care
  • Relevant post-registration training or willing and able to gain within 1 year
  • An ability to demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development
  • Awareness of current legislation within independent care sector
  • Completion of NMC recognised accredited mentor training and able to mentor students and less experienced staff
  • Commitment to service user involvement
  • An ability to implement and monitor clinical standards
  • Demonstrable interest in the client group
  • Proven ability to build and lead an effective team
