Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered General Nurse to fill a full-time role based in Wiltshire. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The salary for this Registered Nurse job is £24,528 per annum.
Role Purpose:
- To ensure that standards of patient care are always consistently maintained in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures
- Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users
- As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors
Responsibilities:
- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community
- Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity
- Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
- Encouraging the development of research and audit based clinical practice
- Active participation in customer satisfaction surveys and satisfaction action plans
- Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping
- Ensure robust risk assessment processes are in place
- To ensure you are aware of your responsibilities, supporting policies and undertake the appropriate level of training for your role
- Monitoring patient satisfaction by regularly visiting clinical departments, taking corrective action where needed, should patient care not be in line with BMI standards
Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Nursing (RGN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Studies Registered general l nurse level 1
- Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
- Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or Registered Nurse Level 2 - Relevant Competencies for the role
- Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration
- Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
- Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
- Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidenced based and takes account of national best practice standards
- Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent)
- Basic workload / shift management skills
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
