Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse / Community Psychiatric Nurse based in St Helens within the Assessment Team. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Registered Mental Health Nurse/Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £23 - £25 per hour (assignment rate). This role is long rolling days, 3 days on 3 days off.
Duties:
- Provide routine comprehensive assessments for referrals received to the team either via attend anywhere or face to face
- Provide cover for the 24-hour crisis line
- Provide assessment for urgent and emergency referrals received into the team
- Support in Home Treatment Team if required
- Input into daily team MDT's
- Support in gatekeeping assessments for admission to hospital and facilitating 72 hours follow-ups if required
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse/Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Previous mental health nursing experience essential
