Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role. 

Location: Cambridge

Pay Rate: £24.51 - £26.00 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract

Shift Pattern: 30 hours per week. 4 days a week within Monday - Friday. 

Duties:

  • Provide assessment and interventions for people with significant mental health conditions such as dementia, depression, psychotic illness and personality disorders
  • Offer training, advice, and guidance to colleagues in the neighbourhood team on common mental health conditions
  • Participate in Neighbourhood Team MDT meetings and ensure key information is recorded in shared care plans
  • Work closely with the mental health integrated care team in order to provide an excellent mental health service
  • Clinical Assessment of mental health needs
  • Assessment and management of risk
  • Participating in a duty rota to offer on call support and advice to service users and their carers
  • Holistic care planning and co-producing crisis plans with service users, keeping service users and their families at the heart of the intervention

Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
  • Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
  • NMC Registration
