This service is tailored for individuals requiring substantial support, including those with challenging behaviors, transitioning into a community setting. It caters to individuals transitioning from children's residential services, moving away from family homes, or being discharged from hospital placements.

As the Registered Manager, you will assume overall leadership and management responsibilities for the service. This entails fostering close relationships with experienced teams, external stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and operational performance. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in identifying and pursuing commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations
  • Meeting quality and financial targets while facilitating the development of quality healthcare services
  • Contributing to the strategic development of the care home in line with organisational objectives
  • Enhancing the reputation of the organisation for delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Addressing the specific needs of individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
  • Representing the organisation in contract reviews and service delivery matters
  • Leading team supervision and annual review processes within the care partnerships
  • *This role involves participation in an on-call rota.

To thrive as a Registered Manager, you'll need:

  • Essential experience in managing challenging behaviors and implementing Positive Behavior Support
  • A proven track record in management within the social or healthcare sector
  • Strong commercial acumen to support service delivery, budget control, and business development
  • An inclusive and supportive management style coupled with strong leadership abilities
  • Experience working with external agencies such as CQC, Safeguarding, and CCGs
  • A commitment to a person-centered approach to deliver high-quality services
