Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a House Manager to work full-time based in a Children and Young People's home, based in Kirklington, Newark.

The salary for this permanent Team Leader job is up to £31,157 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Running the home of a day-to-day basis
  • Provide a stimulating environment, docuvice the the education, personal and soicla development of the children as outlined in their EHCP
  • Key worker for a child or small group of children
  • Offering appropriate levels of support, guidance and care
  • Maintain regular contact with the parents or carers of our children and young people
  • Ensure effective leadership of the house and residential community
  • To lead and manage the team of support workers, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to the children and young people
  • To work collaboratively with the registered manager and other professionals to ensure that the needs of the children and young people are met
  • To be responsible for the management of the home in the absence of the registered manager
  • To be a positive role model to the children and young people, promoting their independence, social and emotional development, and well-being

Requirements of this job:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Children’s residential care
  • Ability to show leadership skills
  • Understanding of the regulatory and legislative requirements of the residential care sector
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development as required
