Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager to work full time based in a Children’s Home in Liverpool.

The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £45,000.

Main Duties:

  • Accountable for delivering high-quality care to young people in the home
  • Ensure effective implementation of relevant regulations and standards
  • Manage child protection matters in accordance with legislation and best safeguarding practices
  • Maintain the highest possible standards of childcare and implement placement plans
  • Coordinate and access appropriate services to meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide leadership and coaching to achieve the best outcomes for young people
  • Mentor and support staff in childcare practices and independent living skills
  • Manage the home effectively and efficiently within the agreed budget
  • Supervise and support the staff group, ensuring they meet the specific needs of young people
  • Develop individual staff training programs and complete performance appraisals

Requirements of this job:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within Children’s residential care
  • Ability to show leadership skills
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections
