This presents an excellent opportunity for a confident individual to collaborate with a multidisciplinary occupational health team. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach for the role of Occupational Health Technician at a client site in Govan.
With over 750 employees collaborating with over 400 clients, we take pride in developing strong partnerships, addressing the unique challenges and needs of each client by tailoring occupational health packages to suit them. We currently have two positions available: one full-time role of 37.5 hours per week and one part-time position of approximately 2.5 days per week. This is an on-site, one-year fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent position. The salary for this role will be £22,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Conducting health screening procedures in accordance with company protocols, including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
- Performing Drug and Alcohol testing and fitness for work medicals.
- Administering audiometry and lung function testing.
- Delivering health promotion activities.
- Ensuring accurate recording of all medical information and maintaining serviceable, clean, and fit-for-purpose equipment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification/registration
- Previous Occupational Health experience
