Position Overview:

As an experienced Occupational Health Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in improving people's lives daily. We prioritise the continuous support and development of our Occupational Health team within a nurturing and inclusive environment, promoting a healthy work-life balance for optimal performance.

This part-time role entails working two days onsite at Hinkley Point, ideally suited for candidates experienced in the energy sector and adept at collaborating within a small, amicable team. 

For the right candidate, there's an opportunity to transition to a full-time remote case manager role.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Health Surveillance and Fitness for Work assessments.
  • Manage cases via phone or in-person, generating high-quality management advice reports.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN; a diploma or degree in Occupational Health is advantageous.
  • Experience in a commercial occupational health setting, particularly in case management and health surveillance.
  • Thorough understanding of occupational health and employment legislation.
  • Prior managerial experience.

Skills:

  • Background in A&E or intensive care.
  • Proficiency in occupational health and employment legislation.
  • Previous experience in Occupational Health preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (Part 1).

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health.
  • Diploma.

Certifications:

  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
