Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Perinatal Specialist (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role, working as a Mental Health Practitioner. 

Location: Stowmarket

Pay Rate: £24.58 - £25.58 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract

Shift Pattern: Full time. 37. 5 hours per week. 

Duties:

  • Provide support to your colleagues with complex cases, escalating concerns to Safeguarding partners and ensuring that safety plans are in place for high-risk service users
  • Keep up to date with specific specialist perinatal research
  • Undertake the planning and delivery of direct patient care with minimal supervision, ensuring continuity of practice and working within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment
  • Managing a caseload and the provision of mental health care services to people with mental health care need
  • Be responsible for accurate recording of mental health records of all patients on admission, discharge and at review
  • Work within the multi-disciplinary team and to form working partnerships with other care providers
  • Ensure service users and / or carer(s) are enabled and empowered to make informed decisions about their care and delivery of that care, working with agencies from within and outside the multi-disciplinary team

Requirements of the Perinatal Specialist:

  • Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Social Work
  • Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
  • Relevant registration
