Job Title: Hospice Therapy Team Lead (Physiotherapist)

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospice Physiotherapy/OT Team Lead for a permanent position in St John's Wood.
Situated in the tranquil surroundings of St. John’s Wood, with convenient access to Central London via the Jubilee line, our independent private Hospital operates with a unique ethos where every procedure contributes to the funding of the onsite Hospice. Serving over 4,500 patients and their families across London, the hospice is a vital institution in our community.
Role Overview:
As the Hospice Therapy Team Lead, you will oversee the management and daily operations of the Hospice Therapy Team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing therapy services across the inpatient Unit, day services unit, and community settings. You will provide clinical direction and leadership to the hospice therapy team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy/OT services to a complex patient caseload with specialist palliative care needs, demonstrating exceptional clinical reasoning and communication skills.
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant BSc (hons) degree
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
- Evidence of post-graduate professional development
- Demonstrable experience in staff and service management
- Experience in service development
- Multidisciplinary team working experience
- Membership of relevant specialist interest groups
- Experience across various inpatient and rehab specialties (e.g., oncology, respiratory)
- Equivalent knowledge and competencies to meet the demands of the role
- Strong clinical reasoning skills for autonomous management of complex patients
- Specialised skills in assessing and treating patients with complex conditions
