Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 7.5 hours per day, shifts between 08:30 am - 16:30 pm or 09:00 am - 17:00 pm
Salary: Up to £57,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience + excellent benefits (including pension, health cover, flexible benefits, and career development)

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Lead Physiotherapist to join our client's Allied Health Professionals team in Birmingham.

The hospital, a cutting-edge £100 million facility, is set to open its doors in January 2024. With state-of-the-art equipment and experienced teams, it will provide comprehensive clinical pathways across various specialties, including Cardiology, Cancer, and Complex Surgery. The hospital marks a significant milestone as the fourth NHS collaboration within this network.

As the Lead Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing managerial support to the Matron and ensuring the efficient management of technical resources, thereby facilitating the seamless delivery of top-tier services. Your responsibilities will encompass expert assessment, management, and education for patients requiring physiotherapy, all grounded in evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in physiotherapy, particularly in managing patients with critical care, cardiac, and complex surgical conditions.
  • Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses, and establish tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
  • Provide support, training, and specialist advice to fellow team members.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment programmes utilising specialised clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Graduate Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy
  • Registration with MCSP and HCPC
  • Extensive experience in caring for diverse patient cohorts, including those in general in-patient surgery, ITU, and respiratory settings.
  • Significant postgraduate experience in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with relevant hospital policies and procedures.
