Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.8/5 and over 500+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Psychology to work in Nottingham on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).

The salary for this permanent Head of Psychology job is £75,000 per annum.

Duties:

  • Lead and deliver a high quality, evidence based psychological service for males and females across both Acute and PICU settings
  • Provide clinical supervision for qualified and assistant psychologists, deliver reflective practice and develop and deliver training packages for staff of other disciplines, as required

Requirements of the Head of Psychology:

  • Be able to: undertake complex assessments and risk assessment, develop comprehensive formulations and deliver specialist individual and group treatments relevant to the service
  • Have excellent organisational ability and well developed interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
  • Being able to work autonomously and also to perform effectively within a multi-disciplinary team is essential
  • An interest in conducting clinically relevant research would be helpful
  • Experience of working within ACUTE/PICU settings is highly desirable
  • Must be registered with the HCPC and will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check
