Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Strategic Lead to fill a full-time role within Children's Service based in Greater Manchester.
The pay rate for this locum Strategic Lead job is £450 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Be the lead for quality and improvement within Early Help & Children's Social Care Service
- Support and promote the use of management and performance information; analyzing key data and triangulating this with qualitative data (e.g. audits) to assess the quality of front-line practice, make improvement recommendations and evaluating the impact
- Support and lead the managers of key teams and services such as the IRO Team, Audits Team, Safeguarding Partnership and related functions such as LADO
- To manage the service that designs and undertakes audits in accordance with the Children's Social Care Quality Assurance Framework
Requirements:
- A recognized and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
- Considerable experience in managing large complex commissioning activities within Children's Services.
- Considerable knowledge and experience working in a political environment, with a significant understanding of the issues for local authorities and service users.
- Membership of relevant professional body
