Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Wandsworth, within the Substance Misuse Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is to be confirmed and is a 1-month contract.
Main Duties:
Become part of Substance Misuse Team, part of the Mental Health Division, working across two boroughs to provide key social work interventions to those who might have care and support need resulting primarily from Substance Misuse but can co- exist with mental and physical health needs.
Support the service in ensuring that primary carers for this service users’ group are recognised, informed, and supported to remain in their key roles.
In line with social work values, play a crucial role in ensuring that social workers in the Team are supported to enable service users to achieve positive life outcomes and contribute to their communities.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
