The salary for this permanent Senior Mobile MRI Radiographer job is £40,000 - £44,500 per annum  + £3000 car allowance!

Main Duties: 

  • Perform a variety of MRI scans independently, ensuring strict adherence to established guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Deliver safe and high-quality diagnostic imaging services in MRI independently.
  • Exercise personal and professional autonomy, utilising your knowledge, skills, and experience to make critical clinical judgments.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the working environment in accordance with company/trust policies.
  • Welcome patients warmly and provide clear explanations of scanning procedures in a professional manner.
  • Accurately input patient data and ensure patient safety throughout the scanning process.
  • Safeguard patient dignity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinic/hospital teams to address service-related issues and inquiries.
  • Complete end-of-day reports and upload images to PACS system efficiently.
  • Assist in scanner maintenance and report stock requirements as necessary.
  • Provide support in training other radiographers as needed.
  • Stay abreast of scanning procedures and industry trends to maintain competence.
  • Adhere strictly to Health and Safety Policies and assist in incident/complaint investigations when required.

Requirements of the Senior Mobile MRI Radiographer:

  • Possession of a BSc in Radiography or an equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Possession of a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including availability to work across all seven days of the week (Monday to Sunday).
  • Excellent knowledge of Radiographic techniques.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the responsibilities associated with the Radiographer's role, including patient care, Health & Safety protocols, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Capacity to foster exceptional relationships with colleagues in a diverse and dynamic work setting.
